Day 12: "Why aren't they out here soaking up the rays?!"

This was a day to kind of do whatever we felt like.  A small group of us (Steph, Madison, Bill and myself) got up at 7:30 to go to breakfast with Dr. Bob – which was at Starbucks, so Steph and I FINALLY got our fraps! - and then we had class at 9.  Basically all we needed to do was go over some information on readings and figure out who wanted to go to the afternoon Pirates game.  Conner, Bill, and Erick were the only three that opted out, so the rest of us walked over to pnc park to see the Pirates face off against the Tigers for the third time.

Really all I can say about the game is that it was HOT.  Steph, Madison, Danny, Dr. Bob and I were sitting in the bleachers and we honestly almost melted.  It’s crazy to think that we went from absolutely freezing in sweatshirts and jackets in Chicago to sweating like crazy in t-shirts and shorts the very next week.  Now that we’ve hit both extremes I’d prefer if Mother Nature would give us some nice moderate temperatures for our remaining games.

After the game, we headed back to the Wyndham to shower and take much needed naps until meeting for dinner.  We ended up at a sandwich place in Market Square, where I made the mistake of ordering a medium. It’s more like a large for normal people’s standards.  When we were done eating we again headed back to the hotel and had class where we discussed the second half of the Rader history book.  Then we had the night to catch up on reading, blogging, television watching, catchphrasing, etc., and most of us went to sleep pretty early as we had to get up early the next day.
